2011 NFL Playoffs: Can The Seahawks Keep Magic Alive Against The Bears?
Nobody but the Seahawks believed they had a shot against the defending World Champion New Orleans Saints, but now, with New Orleans home and Seattle moving on, the Bears should be cautious.
The Seahawks only won seven games in the regular season and won only two out of their last seven. Yet somehow, some way, they made it into the playoffs with a losing record and discovered that Matt Hasselbeck was simply waiting for the postseason to wake up.
Defensively the Seahawks can actually put some pressure on opposing quarterbacks, recording 37 sacks on the season, and they will need as much of that as possible against a Bears offensive line that seems to welcome pass rushers willingly into Jay Cutler's face.
Everything the Seahawks did in the regular season goes out the window, they are a different team with the actual belief that they belong in the postseason thanks to Pete Carroll.
