The 2017 NFL draft class is shaping up to be a very good one.
After early skepticism about the depth and talent at quarterback and wide receiver, both groups are showing top-end talent and a surprising number of draftable players. Especially at quarterback, where four players have emerged as possible Round 1 talents.
The 2017 class is still loaded at running back, tight end, edge-rusher, cornerback and safety—good news for teams looking to duplicate the Denver Broncos or Minnesota Vikings game plan of building a strong defense. With a generational talent in Myles Garrett, a legitimate Heisman candidate in Jabrill Peppers and a Patrick Willis clone in Reuben Foster, this year's class of defenders is one to remember.
