A Letter From Donovan McNabb To Philadelphia Eagles Fans

Dear Eagles Fans,
I would like to start this message by saying thank you. Thank you for all the times you booed at me for throwing bad passes when my O-Line couldn't block for me. Thank you for every time you wished they would trade me or cut me because I couldn't cut it. Thank you for making nearly every year of my career here in Philadelphia as horrible as you could for me. I will always remember the fans of Philadelphia.
I'm sorry for losing four NFC Championship games in a row. Please don't remember how the first three times I managed to lead us to the NFC Championship with one of the worst starting receiever teams in the NFL. The Super Bowl was my fault, I choked.
I'm sorry for 11 seasons I've poured every ounce of my body into leading the Eagles to an NFL Championship. I've come close but never succeeded and for that I feel like I've failed the fans who did appreciate me.
