A Super Curse: Why the Dallas Cowboys Were Doomed From the Start

When the Cowboys lost their 5th game of the season and lose their starting QB, they also watched their Super Bowl chances go out the window.
This is even more significant because the Cowboys this year, had the chance to play the Super Bowl in their own stadium. They seemed primed to be able to do it. With all the right pieces in place, they were sure they were going to be in the Super Bowl in their own stadium.
Now their window of opportunity is closing and things aren't looking good. They aren't alone.
After all, no team has ever made the Super Bowl in their own stadium. In the last decade, only one team has made the playoffs, only to lose in the Wild Card. Here's a look of whats happened since 2000.
