Aaron Kampman Signs With The Jaguars

Announcing their second signing of a pro bowl player (Kassim Osgood) in as many days, the Jacksonville Jaguars have signed DE/LB Aaron Kampman.  Kampman was one of the best free agents available on the market, and after having struggled in Green Bay's new 3-4 defense last season, brings his skills and talents to Jacksonville.
The Jaguars desperately needed to acquire pass rushing help this off season, either via free agency or the draft.  Many had thought they'd pursue filling this hole through the draft, given a lack of income and financial stability in Jacksonville.  Instead, in an unlikely turn of events, believe it or not the Jaguars have signed more players than both the Redskins and the Cowboys combined thus far this off season.
The Jaguars ranked dead last in the league with 14 sacks last season, bringing in Kampman brings in a guy with 54 careers sacks, and a guy who has put up more than 14 sacks in a season by himself in his most productive year (2006)...
