Ben Roethlisberger has a chance to seal his place in football lore. Only a handful of quarterbacks have won multiple Super Bowls in the history of the league. Peyton Manning isn't one of them.
Roethlisberger could secure his third ring before he even reaches the age of 30. Roethlisberger is obviously not on the fringe of completing a dynasty solely based upon his individual accolades. He has played under great head coaches and with the support of an elite defense.
Super Bowl rings No. 1 and No. 2 came by taking out the Seahawks and Cardinals, both heavy underdogs. His journey to obtain No. 3 will involve winning the Super Bowl as the underdog for the first time in Roethlisberger's brief career.
At the helm on the other sideline is Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers is widely regarded as one of the best quarterbacks in football, though he was snubbed from Pro Bowl honors this season. Since the playoffs began, Rodgers has a 109.2 QB rating, compared to Roethlisberger's 75.5 QB rating....
