Ahtyba Rubin Re-Signs with Seahawks: Contract Details, Comments and Reaction

The Seattle Seahawks agreed to terms with defensive tackle Ahtyba Rubin on Monday.
The 29-year-old avoided free agency by signing a three-year deal after recording 36 tackles and two sacks during his lone year in Seattle, per Gregg Bell of the News Tribune. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported on Tuesday that the deal is for three years and $12 million. Rapoport also noted Rubin will receive $6 million in the first year of the deal.
The Seahawks later sent out a press release confirming the news, per Bell. 
Rubin spent the first seven years of his career with the Cleveland Browns, with his best season coming in 2011, when he registered 83 tackles and five sacks.
