Allen Hurns Injury: Updates on Jaguars WR’s Recovery from Sports Hernia Surgery

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Allen Hurns will undergo offseason surgery to repair a sports hernia.

Hurns Confirms Procedure Monday, Jan. 4 Hurns told reporters he expects to recover in six to eight weeks after undergoing surgery next week.
Hurns Continued to Emerge As Major Part of Budding Jaguars Passing Attack Hurns tallied 677 receiving yards and six touchdowns in his rookie season and was even more effective this year, tallying 1,031 yards and 10 touchdowns. He and Allen Robinson form a dynamic wide receiving duo and kept Jacksonville within striking distance of the AFC South for much of the season. 
Jacksonville is building a promising passing attack, and the franchise hopes Hurns will be part of a potential playoff push in 2016. Robinson is a budding superstar and quickly became a top-notch wide receiver in his second season with quarterback Blake Bortles.
