Andre Roberts to Sign with Lions: Latest Contract Details, Comments and Reaction

The Detroit Lions have reportedly signed wide receiver Andre Roberts to a one-year deal, according to Adam Caplan of ESPN and Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.
Roberts, 28, caught 11 passes for 135 yards with Washington last season in nine games. He also registered a kickoff return for a touchdown.   
Roberts, who's spent much of his career as a third or fourth receiver, has never quite been able to replicate his success in 2012, when he notched 64 receptions for 759 yards and five touchdowns with the Arizona Cardinals.
All three marks were career highs, and he hasn't reached 500 receiving yards since. He was squeezed out of a deep receiving group in Washington when the team drafted Josh Doctson in the first round of the 2016 NFL draft, leaving him as the odd man out and leading to his release.
