Andrew Gardner Injury: Updates on Eagles OL’s Foot and Recovery

The Philadelphia Eagles' shaky offensive line situation got even worse Tuesday as guard Andrew Gardner was placed on injured reserve with a foot injury, according to the team's official Twitter account.

Report: Gardner Likely to Undergo Lisfranc Surgery Tuesday, Sept. 29 Gardner left Sunday's game against the New York Jets with an apparent foot injury, and he was seen afterward on crutches and wearing a walking boot. 
The 29-year-old offensive lineman was placed on IR, and he is expected to undergo Lisfranc surgery on his right foot, per Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Eliot Shorr-Parks of NJ Advance Media made mention of how significant a loss Gardner is to Philly's offensive front:
Gardner, who was a sixth-round pick by the Miami Dolphins in 2009, started eight games for the Eagles at right guard last season and claimed the full-time starting job entering 2015.
