Antonio Cromartie Trade: Jets Make Right Move

Cornerback Antonio Cromartie will join the Jets with strings attached, but paternity issues and all, then "risk was reasonable given the price we had to pay," according to Mike Tannebaum. 
Well said; The price is right. A conditional third round pick in the 2011 draft for Cromartie is a bargain. 
Cromartie, who has a track record of "inconsistencies" off the field, will benefit from the change of scenery. Cromartie came across as polished and professional and didn't shy away from questions about his personal life like he does from contact, which he also tackled, in his conference call introducing the newest Jet.
"I'm just excited about having a fresh start," he said. "I'm excited about the upcoming year."
Like Braylon Edwards, Cromartie will arrive looking to resurrect his career by regaining his 2007 form, which he is confident will happen.
