Aqib Talib Injury: Updates on Broncos CB’s Recovery from Nightclub Shooting

Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib is recovering from a gunshot wound to his leg stemming from a nightclub incident on June 5 in Dallas and could return to the field as soon as next month.

Gary Kubiak Comments on Talib's Status Tuesday, June 14 The Broncos head coach provided a rather encouraging update on Talib on Tuesday, saying, per James Palmer of NFL Network, "I think he's just weaning off of the crutches right now, if I'm right. Our goal is to have him ready for camp."   
Talib made 15 starts for Denver during the 2015 campaign and was an integral part of one of the best defensive backfields in all of football, a unit that largely contributed to the team's Super Bowl 50 triumph.
The 30-year-old veteran made three interceptions, scored two defensive touchdowns and logged 45 combined tackles this past year.
