Are Santonio Holmes and the Pittsburgh Steelers Parting Ways?

The first story came out a few days ago. It was from profootballtalk.com , and it stated that the Steelers could make Santonio Holmes the fall guy for the Ben Roethlisberger issue—making him an example as to what the Steelers will not tolerate from their players.
Holmes is accused of hitting someone in the face with an alcoholic drink at a club in Florida—this after he was charged a couple years ago with smoking marijuana.
Holmes did not do much to improve his image, suggesting via twitter that one of the commentators should kill themselves .
I even chimed in that the Steelers could be considering trading Holmes, possibly to the receiver-needy Miami Dolphins for the 12th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft.
Holmes has now stated his position on what he believes his future holds with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Per Ken Laird of ESPN 1240 in Pittsburgh, this will possibly be Holmes's last year in the black and gold.
