Are the Miami Dolphins Intimidated By Bill Parcells?

Bill Parcells never played in an NFL game, and at the distinguished age of 68, most could outrun the hefty VP of Player Personnel for the Miami Dolphins.
(Mr. Parcells, at the minute chance you ever read this, take no offense. If it's any consolation, I would hate to meet you in a street brawl, bar fight, or some kind of competition where we duel in evaluating college prospects.)
Yet, the man they call the Big Tuna might be using his contract to leverage himself as the biggest fish in the Miami organization.
The recent string of arrests of Dolphins players caused a stir around the nation, but not because any of the individual crimes were headed to the Supreme Court. 
Instead, the outrage centered around the lack of reprimands the Dolphins imposed on their legally penalized players.  And these players committed no petty crimes.
