Are the Minnesota Vikings the Ultimate Green Bay Packer Wanna-be’s?

The Minnesota Vikings have just signed free agent Mike Montgomery from the Green Bay Packers. Am I the only one who sees a slight phenomenon here?
In 2005, Darren Sharper, who has been argued to be one of the finest DB's in the league, decided to join the purple and gold. Sharper didn't have a grudge against the Pack or anything like that, he just felt that he deserved the money that his talent deserves. But there's little question the Vikings loved the thought of acquiring him.
In 2006, Ryan Longwell joined the purple and gold as well. He is a decent kicker, so the Vikings were glad to pick him up.
And of course we can't forget Brett Favre. The Vikings were more than happy to welcome the 40-year-old quarterback on their turf, and now will do anything to have him back another season.
Not a lot of teams in the NFL have gold as one of their main colors, and Packers were the first to think of it. Now it's not a legal issue or anything like that, but if you're the firs...
