Atlanta Falcons: Will Layoff Have A Negative Effect on Falcons Against Packers?

The Atlanta Falcons will be playing their first game in nearly two weeks when they kick off against the Green Bay Packers in Saturday's NFC Divisional Playoff.
A layoff like that typically goes one of two ways: it can either be a blessing, or it can be a curse.
While it would perhaps be foolish to sit here and predict outright that the Falcons will look totally flat from the start on Saturday, there nevertheless exists a sneaking suspicion that they might not be as hyped as their opponent.
For one, the Packers have basically been playing playoff games for several weeks now, as it took wins in their final two regular season games to even qualify for the playoffs. And last week, they knocked off a Philadelphia Eagles team that many people had pegged as a Super Bowl contender.
Moreover, of the final four games of Atlanta's regular season, only one was against an opponent with a better than .500 record. That was the New Orleans Saints, who beat them in the Georgia Dome ...
