Austin Davis to Broncos: Latest Contract Details, Comments and Reaction

The Denver Broncos added some quarterback depth on Saturday when they signed Austin Davis to a one-year deal, per Aric DiLalla of DenverBroncos.com. 
Broncos executive vice president of football operations and general manager John Elway discussed the addition:

He's coming in to learn the offense, we'll take it one step at a time. Let's put it that way. Any time you bring in a guy this late, it's gonna take some time to get him turned around. [Trevor Siemian's] the guy. We've got a lot of confidence in Trevor and believe that he can do the job. It's Trevor's job, and he's not going to be looking over his shoulder.
This comes after Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com first reported that the Cleveland Browns released Davis on Aug. 29. Cabot said Davis "became expendable when the Browns drafted Cody Kessler in the third round."
