Baltimore Ravens Domonique Foxworth Awarded Inaugural Tim Wheatley Award

Domonique Foxworth was presented with the inaugural Tim Wheatley Award on Monday. The award honors a local athlete who contributes significantly on and off the playing field.
Foxworth, once the youngest player elected to the NFL Players Association executive committee, was cited for his work with local youth.  
Foxworth is the creator of BORN Inc., a group that seeks to provide assistance to lower-income boys.  The group's main focus is giving the boys a strong network for success in life.
The Baltimore Sun Media Group created the Tim Wheatley Award to honor the former Baltimore Sun sports editor.  Wheatley was killed in a car accident on October 5, 2009. Wheatley was driving his daughter to school when they were hit by a delivery truck.
Foxworth was presented the award by Wheatley's three children, including his daughter Sarah who has recovered from the accident.  She was in critical condition at Johns Hopkins Children's Center after the crash.<...
