Baltimore Ravens Sign Free Agent WR Jacoby Jones to 2 Year Deal

The Baltimore Ravens have agreed to terms with free agent receiver Jacoby Jones, according to a report from ESPN's Jamison Hensley. The deal is worth a reported $7 million over two years.
Jones had visited the Ravens' facility earlier in the week, according to the Ravens' team website.
This is a great signing for a team who needs both an extra receiving option and a legitimate option in the return game as well.
Jones excels mainly as a deep threat on offense. He possesses an ideal blend of size and speed that allows him to be a serviceable deep threat.
His ability on deep routes could complement Torrey Smith and Anquan Boldin very well, but first he'll have to earn the right to be the third option, as he'll be competing with Tandon Doss, Tommy Streeter, David Reed and Laquan Williams.
Regardless of how that competition turns out, Jones will mainly contribute on special teams, where he has consistently proven to be a dangerous returner.
