Believing Michael Vick Was Not Involved in Shooting Fails the Logic Test

Okay, let's examine the facts here and you can form your own opinion as to whether you believe that Michael Vick was not involved in, nor had no knowledge of, the shooting that took place following his birthday celebration in Virginia Beach last week.
First, the man who was shot just coincidentally happened to be Quanis Phillips, a co-defendant in the dogfighting case that sent Vick to federal prison.
Second, Vick says he "left the restaurant prior to it occurring and did not witness what happened." Which is technically true, but there is apparently a disconnect regarding the timing of his leaving and the incident.
Vick's attorney, Larry Woodward, said Vick left the party at least 10 minutes, and perhaps as many as 20, before the shooting took place.
However, time-stamped footage from a surveillance camera outside the entrance of the club shows a car with Vick inside leaving about four minutes before the shooting.
If Vick was innocent, why lie?
