Breaking News: Dallas Cowboys Rookie Receiver Dez Bryant Signs Contract

The Dallas Cowboys' first-round draft pick (24th overall), Dez Bryant, has agreed to terms on a contract.

According to ESPN, the contract will be worth $11.8 million over five years with $8.5 million guaranteed.

Bryant was a standout receiver for the Oklahoma State Cowboys until he was suspended last season for lying to the NCAA about working out with former Dallas great Deion Sanders.

In his three seasons at Oklahoma State, Bryant had 2,425 receiving yards and 29 touchdowns.
In 2008, his final collegiate year, Bryant was second in the NCAA with 1,480 yards and 19 touchdowns.
He was also 22nd in the NCAA with 17 yards per catch.

He was many people's preseason pick to win the Heisman going into the 2009 season and was expected to be a top-five pick before he was suspended.
