BREAKING NEWS: Kevin Kolb of the Philadelphia Eagles Signs One-Year Extension

The Philadelphia Eagles announced today that starting quarterback Kevin Kolb has signed a one-year extension, keeping him in Philly through the 2011 season.
As a 2007 second round draft choice, Kevin spent his first three years being mentored by Pro Bowl QB's like Donovan McNabb, Jeff Garcia, and Michael Vick, who remains with the team as the backup to Kevin Kolb.
Head coach Andy Reid offered his thoughts on the contract extension saying:
"We're happy to have Kevin under contract for the next two seasons."
Reid continued stating:
"When given the chance, Kevin has proven to have good command of this offense and we're looking forward to having him operate as the number one quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles"
Philadelphia Eagles new GM Howie Roseman also contributed his opinion of Kolb as he said:
