Friday, the Pittsburgh Steelers announced that they have come to terms with two of their draft picks.
Thaddeus Gibson, the Steelers fourth round pick (116 overall) from Ohio State is the highest drafted player signed so far by the Steelers this year.
Gibson played Defensive End in college, and is expected to switch to the OLB position with the Steelers.
Also signed was seventh round compensatory pick Doug Worthington, also out of Ohio State.
Worthington played Defensive Tackle at Ohio State, will probably be switching to Defensive End in the Steelers 3-4 alignment.
No details of either contract was reported yet by the Steelers, however, as profootballtalk.com reports, the contracts are probably for three years in length, as opposed to the four year deal the NFL allows for rookies.
