Brett Favre and Javon Walker: Proof The Vikings Season Is In Trouble

Brett Favre and his grey beard finally arrived to save Brad Childress and the Vikings from NFL mortality this past week as he decided to join his “old” teammates in Minnesota. Brett said that he wanted to give it one more shot (sound familiar) and he didn’t want to let his teammates down.
Favre even played in the team’s preseason game this past Sunday night against the 49ers. Favre and his beard were mowed over by Patrick Willis and the Mike Singletary express at Candlestick Park. A nice welcome back present for Brett from Mr. Willis.
Brad Childress and his minions in the great north have begged, prodded, groveled, and all but attempted to mortgage the Viking franchise to old grey beard so that he’ll come back and lead them to the Super Bowl. The Vikings came so close last season; in fact they were only one play away from making a trip to Miami to face the Colts.
But I guess in his old age it is easy for Favre to forget that he threw a pass ...
