Brett Favre Calls It Quits, Again: Will the Third Time Be the Charm?

Every year another column is written about Brett Favre, he is getting one year older.
And before we know it, we may very well be questioning whether or not Favre really WILL play until he’s 50.
But if we’re looking at the here and now (which seems to change constantly), Favre will be hanging it up for a third—and apparent final—time.
Granted, there’s no doubt I am beyond sick and tired of this constant coverage of what seems to be a nearly yearly event for Favre—but there’s also no doubt that Favre is one of the best play-callers to ever hit the gridiron.
Will this third retirement be his final stand?
To be honest, I really hope it is—and that’s nothing against Favre.
He’s been great since day one in Green Bay, and I hate to see him go.
However, in the same breath, this “should I stay or should I go” nonsense since 2006 has been beyond absurd.
