Brett Favre heads off into the sunset. Granted, this is his third time leaving the game, so excuse me for walking carefully into this article.
Life will be hard without the ol' gunslinger. It has been two decades since we had a Brett Favre-less league, so some evolution will be in order. But our loss pales in comparison to the heartache that must be going on in Favre.
It was abundantly clear that Favre wanted to play football and nothing else. How else do you explain his refusal to give up the game three years ago?
