Brett Favre Returning to Minnesota Vikings, No One is Surprised

As reported by several media outlets, Brett Favre told his teammates he is returning to the team for one more season.
In other news, water is wet.
According to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports, three Vikings players, Steve Hutchinson, Jared Allen, and Ryan Longwell flew to Mississippi to talk Favre into returning.
Favre reportedly told these guys at that meeting he was already back, and an update on Favre's Web site tells everyone to "stay tuned" for breaking news.
The unending drama of Brett Favre actually has been fairly predictable this year since it seems to be following the 2009 script.
Favre told everyone he was retired during the opening weeks of training camp, which conveniently allows him to skip the two-a-days. Favre then makes hi appearance a few days after the first preseason game.
This allows him to save wear-and-tear on his approximately 150-year old body and keep his surgically repaired ankle fresh for the upcoming season.
