Brett Favre Returns to the Minnesota Vikings

As I said back on March 8, there were plenty of good reasons for Brett Favre to return to the Minnesota Vikings in 2010. And after a series of events that saw three Vikings players (Ryan Longwell, Jared Allen and Steve Hutchinson) fly to Favre's home in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to whisk him back to the team this afternoon, it has finally been confirmed—Brett Favre will be the quarterback of the Minnesota Vikings this season.
Of course, various reports will have us believe these three players weren't sure if Favre was coming back to the Twin Cities with them or not—although they were instructed by Vikings brass to get an answer one way or another.
I think No. 4 had this date circled on his calendar since last season ended. He would have the surgery on his bum ankle, later than sooner. He would practice with high school players at Oak Grove. And then he would return to the Vikings two days after they broke camp at Mankato State. It was either that or he hadn't turne...
