Brett Favre Saga Heats Up As June Approaches

Quite frankly, it is hard to remember what the offseason in the NFL is like when there is no talk about Brett Favre possibly retiring. I remember that tearful goodbye on Lambeau Field on Sunday night football against the Bears in 2006.
Next thing you know he has one of his best seasons with the Packers in 2007 and they lose in overtime of the NFC Championship Game with Brett's last throw being intercepted.
Then comes the whole Broadway Brett scenario in 2008 where he leads the Jets to an 8-3 record, but falters down the stretch and eventually doesn't even make the playoffs.
There was then the ultimate turn in the Favre Saga once the Jets released him after drafting Mark Sanchez, Favre was a free agent. At the time he was retired, but as well all know Brett that gave him the opportunity to sign with the Vikings and ultimately he did.
