Brian Cushing Suspended Four Games For “Steriods”

May 7, 2010   ·     ·   Jump to comments

The Houston Texans' 2009 first-round draft pick Brian Cushing has been suspended for four games in 2010 for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.
Cushing was part of a trio of USC linebackers who were drafted in 2009. All of which who were very productive.
Cushing is the reigning Defensive Rookie of the Year and fresh off a rookie Pro Bowl appearance. He put up outstanding numbers in 2009 with 133 combined tackles, 4 sacks, 4 interceptions, 10 pass deflections, 2 forced fumbles, and 1 safety.
This is a very bad sign for a very promising young player.
