Britton Colquitt Trade Rumors: Latest News and Speculation Around Broncos Punter

The Denver Broncos are reportedly shopping punter Britton Colquitt and “have called teams inquiring if they’d be interested” in the veteran, per Mike Klis of 9NEWS in Denver.

NFC Teams Reportedly Interested in Colquitt Sunday, Aug. 28 Klis listed the Minnesota Vikings, Arizona Cardinals, Carolina Panthers and Chicago Bears as potential teams that “could be interested in Colquitt.”
Denver has the luxury of shopping its punter because it chose Riley Dixon out of Syracuse in the seventh round of the 2016 draft. Klis pointed out the Broncos gave the reins to Dixon during their 17-9 preseason victory over the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday, and the youngster averaged 44.9 yards per punt on eight attempts, one of which ended up inside the 20-yard line.
