Browns Rumblings: Colt McCoy, Jared Odrick Visit, while Dez Bryant Stays Away

Case Western's Dan Whalen Visits the Browns
A local boy, Case Western Reserve Quarterback Dan Whalen, worked out for Browns officials, including Quarterbacks Coach Carl Smith. The contingent did not include executives Tom Heckert or Mike Holmgren but was taped.
He threw 75 passes to five different receivers, including Ohio State alum Ray Small. According to Whalen, the workout went well and he only missed connecting on four passes. He hopes to be signed as an undrafted free agent, but if not he will go to the CFL with the Calgary Franchise.
 
Odrick an Option at No. 7?

Penn State defensive tackle Jared Odrick visited the Browns yesterday. Odrick (6'5", 304 lbs) is apparently being considered by the Browns with the No. 7 pick in the upcoming NFL draft. Speculation is that the Browns might be able to trade down and still land the big tackle, who also projects as a defensive end in the 3-4 defense.
