Buffalo Bills 2010 Training Camp: The Rise of Naaman Roosevelt

Just a month ago, I predicted that Naaman Roosevelt would end up not making the Buffalo Bills final roster this season, and that is still a distinct possibility.
However, Roosevelt also stands to benefit the most from the recent injury to rookie wide receiver Marcus Easley.
By all accounts, Roosevelt has been the most impressive of the trio of undrafted rookie free agent receivers in Bills training camp (David Nelson and Donald Jones being the other two).
And if Easley's surgery requires him to miss extensive time, Roosevelt may just be the player who gets to fill his role on the final roster this season.
Roosevelt has been consistently showing good hands and decent route running in both OTAs and training camp, and he could work his way into sticking around if his strong performance continues.
Roosevelt will not be in the mix for the No. 2 receiver job as Easley was, and he may wind up in a role similar to Steve Johnson's last year where he finds himself ...
