In the NFL draft, each team is looking for key parts of its future roster. The teams are looking for the players who will form the base of a winning team for years to come. They are looking for franchise cornerstones.
In the 2013 NFL draft, there is a finite supply of these prospects. Among the top 25 players, there are several, in fact.
The criteria for the top 25 is based on a combination of future potential and probability. A player's best possible outcome is crucial, but so is his likelihood of becoming a decent player.
Whether or not a player is a franchise cornerstone depends on his ability to directly affect his team's chances of winning. Position is a factor, as is upside and probability. 
Every team wants a cornerstone for its team, but only a few will find one. Which players offer cornerstone potential?
