Can Kenny Britt Step Up For the Titans In 2010?

The Titans have been looking for a legitimate No. 1 receiver ever since they let go of Derrick Mason back in 2004.  Every season, I hear the Titans need better quarterbacks.
But how can the passers succeed when they have no one to throw to.  
When the Titans played the Jets last year, Kerry Collins missed what seemed like 15 passes in a row in the fourth quarter. I'm not saying they were all his fault. But more than half of them were good passes. The receivers just dropped them.
Lets look at the Titans receiving core. There is Justin Gage, who wouldn't be a No. 2 on most teams. Then there's Nate Washington, who was replaced by a rookie while on the Steelers. That leaves us with one ray of hope.

In 2009, Britt had 42 receptions and 701 yards, leading all Titans receivers while only starting in 6 games. Pretty impressive.
