Carolina Panthers Add Two More Assistant Coaches to Ron Rivera’s Staff

The Carolina Panthers added linebackers coach Warren Belin and running backs coach John Settle to new head coach Ron Rivera's staff Friday.
Belin spent last season at the University of Georgia after an eight-year tenure at Vanderbilt. While with the Commodores, he tutored future NFL players Hunter Hillenmeyer, Jonathan Goff and Marcus Buggs.
Settle arrives in Carolina after four seasons at the University of Wisconsin. In 2010, Settle tutored one of the most productive stable of backs in the country. The Badgers averaged 247.3 rushing yards per game and were the only team in the country with three 800-yard rushers.
He also served eight seasons as running backs coach at Fresno State, where he tutored six 1,000-yard rushers. He spent three years (1995-98) as an offensive assistant with the Cleveland Browns/Baltimore Ravens, during which he worked with running backs Lorenzo White, Leroy Hoard, Earnest Byner and Priest Holmes.
