Jimmy Clausen starts his first NFL game this Sunday. He will be without a key component of his offensive line. Offensive tackle and former first-round pick Jeff Otah will miss his second straight game with a knee injury.

While defensive end Charles Johnson is questionable with a calf injury, the rest of the Panthers look ready to go. Wide receiver Brandon LaFell (hamstring), defensive linemen Louis Leonard (elbow), and Tyler Brayton (ankle) are listed as probable.

The Bengals come to town banged-up. Defensive end Jonathan Fanene is out with a hamstring and cornerback Adam Jones looks doubtful with a shoulder injury.

Linebacker Keith Rivers and defensive tackle Tank Johnson are probable with foot injuries as both fully participated in Friday’s practice.

Defensive ends Antwan Odom and Frostee Rucker are questionable with wrist and toe injuries.

The Panthers host the Bengals at 1 p.m. EDT Sunday.
