Carolina Panthers: QB Matt Moore Suffers Concussion, Listed As Day-To-Day

Panthers quarterback Matt Moore suffered a concussion late in Sunday’s 31-18 loss to the Giants in New York. It was unclear on what play he suffered the concussion.
Head coach John Fox said in Monday afternoon's press conference that Moore is day-to-day, and will be evaluated throughout the week, and that if he is healthy, he will start in Week 2.
Moore was less than impressive in the season opener, going 14-for-33 with 182 yards and a touchdown. He threw three interceptions, including one in the red zone, and fumbled twice, losing one. He was also sacked four times.
The Panthers struggled to find a rhythm against the Giants, mounting just two drives over 40 yards, one of which ended in a Moore interception.
The Panthers cut ties with long-time quarterback Jake Delhomme after the 2009 season, handing the keys to Moore. They then drafted Notre Dame quarterback Jimmy Clausen in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft.
