Carolina Panthers vs. Kansas City Chiefs Preview and Predictions

This late in the season, the coach who loses this Week 13 matchup could find himself in the unemployment line as the Carolina Panthers take on the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Panthers (3-8) have been terrible this season—especially compared to the expectations just about everyone laid on them this season (including their center). The defense has been an embarrassment to Ron Rivera's legacy, and the offense has struggled now that opponents have tape on Cam Newton. 
The Chiefs (1-10) were anointed as a dark-horse (or just outright) contender in the AFC West and then fell flat on their faces as injuries, ineffectiveness and poor execution sent them hurdling toward contention for the No. 1 pick. One of the lone bright spots has been Jamaal Charles who has come back from a missed 2011 and looks like one of the few building blocks on an otherwise-atrocious offense.
