Chad Johnson Announces He Will Join Browns’ Training Camp in Non-Playing Role

Former NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson will be joining the Cleveland Browns in an unknown capacity at the team's training camp in late July, as he tweeted Tuesday:
The tweet came one day after Johnson revealed he was going to ask Browns head coach Hue Jackson if he could join the team's coaching staff:
He also tweeted to the Browns in March, asking if he could join the team's staff to help the receivers. And he noted on Monday: "I can send my resume (19 hour long DVD) of precise route running & unorthodox releases in man to man."
Browns rookie wideout Corey Coleman appeared very open to the idea:
Johnson, 38, last appeared in an NFL game in 2011 with the New England Patriots. He signed with the Miami Dolphins in 2012 offseason but was cut in August of that year after he was arrested and charged with domestic violence.
