Chicago Bears Training Camp: Can Dan LeFevour Make The Team?

In 2009, the Chicago Bears only kept two quarterbacks on their roster: Starter Jay Cutler and backup Caleb Hanie, who is almost certain to open the season as the number two QB.
But last year, the Bears didn't have Dan LeFevour.
On the surface, Bears fans may wonder why a sixth-round draft choice like LeFevour is such a big deal.
But, with the Bears resting Cutler for most of Monday's practice, LeFevour saw extensive action, running the second-team offense in team drills—and he looked good.
This team has so many tight ends, in a Mike Martz offense that only values TEs that block no less, that it is reasonable to think it will keep only two QBs. But if that is true, Bears fans will be missing out on a guy who can really play the position.
