Chris Harris Injury: Updates on Broncos CB’s Shoulder and Return

Denver Broncos cornerback Chris Harris underwent an MRI on his shoulder on Monday after injuring it during the team's win over the San Diego Chargers on Sunday, per Nicki Jhabvala of the Denver Post.

Harris Played Through Injury Versus Chargers Monday, Jan. 4 Harris said his shoulder—which is bruised—went dead in the first quarter of the game, but he continued to play through it and get it worked on during the contest, per James Palmer of the NFL Network.
Harris, 26, has developed into one of the NFL's best corners, registering 58 tackles, two interceptions and two forced fumbles in 16 games this season. He's paired with Aqib Talib and T.J. Ward, giving the Broncos one of the top secondaries in football and the top-ranked pass defense.
Luckily for the Broncos, the team has a first-round bye after earning the top overall seed in the AFC playoffs, so any lingering issues for Harris will have two weeks to heal.
