Chris Jennings: Cleveland Player Punches Doorman at Nightclub and Is Arrested

Early Saturday morning Cleveland Browns running back Chris Jennings was arrested for punching a doorman at a local club, The Velvet Dog. According to the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Office, a friend of Jennings was denied entry to the club for not meeting the dress code.
Chris Jennings began, allegedly, arguing with the doorman and a confrontation ensued. Jennings and his friend then ignored the doorman and entered the club anyway. The argument continued inside and turned into a scuffle. Jennings allegedly punched the doorman in the mouth, bloodying it.
The police were called and took the Browns' running back into custody at 2:15 A.M. He is currently in the City Jail and has not been charged as of the completion of this article.
Browns GM Tom Heckert responded to the incident, saying, "We are aware of the situation with Chris Jennings. Until we have gathered all of the pertinent information we will not have any further comment."
