Cleveland Browns: 2010 Running Back Preview

Cleveland Browns running backs may have both celebrated and dreaded the arrival of Mike Holmgren to town. With more of a focus this season on the West Coast Offense, it entails opening the passing game up by pounding the defense with a run-first mentality, but does Cleveland have a back capable of shouldering that kind of load in a punishing AFC North? Last season, 2009 rookie James Davis was expected to steal the show, but an early injury put him on injured reserve, leaving it open to be the Jamal Lewis show. After nine horrifically unproductive games however, injuries forced him to the sideline as well, bringing in Jerome Harrison and CFL back Chris Jennings as the backfield duo. Single-handedly it's doubtful the Browns have that star workhorse, but with a combination of two or more guys, it could look much more promising for Cleveland's backfield this season. Begin Slideshow
