The Cleveland Browns haven't been considered one of the NFL's elite teams in quite some time. In fact, the Browns have consistently been one of the worst teams in the NFL since their return in 1999. But when the Browns first took the field in 1946 as part of the All-America Football Conference, nobody knew those teams, led by the great Paul Brown, would go on to become the New York Yankees of football for the next 20 years. Paul Brown's teams won just about everything and rarely had a bad season.
