Cleveland Browns Makeover Continues: Kamerion Wimbley Traded To Oakland

The re-construction of the Cleveland Browns continued on Sunday, just not in a way that anyone thought. 
After news of the trade of Brady Quinn made headlines, it is being reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter that the Cleveland Browns have traded starting outside linebacker Kamerion Wimbley to the Oakland Raiders for an undisclosed conditional draft pick.
After having an outstanding 11-sack rookie season in 2006, the 26-year-old, former first round pick has struggled in his development from a defensive-end to a 3-4 outside linebacker for the Browns.
In 2009, under new defensive coordinator Rob Ryan, it looked like Wimbley was just beginning to become that strong pass rushing threat the Browns have lacked for years by posting 6.5 sacks and 69 tackles in 15 starts.
The trade of Wimbley has come as quite a surprise to the people of Cleveland, and the carousel of first-round picks being traded out of Cleveland continues.
