Cleveland Browns’ Mock Draft: One Month Out

March 19, 2010   ·     ·   Jump to comments

With a month before the NFL draft, the Cleveland Browns have had an active offseason.  They have acquired several players to shore up weaknesses mostly on the offensive side of the ball.
In preparing this mock draft, it would be good to review the offseason transaction to date.
By Trade: QB Seneca Wallace
By Free Agent Acquisition: QB Jake Delhomme, QB Tyler Palko, TE Ben Watson, OT Tony Pashos, ILB Scott Fujita
Round One, Pick 7
S Eric Berry, Tennessee
Berry is a playmaker and game changer.  The Browns should trade down if he is not available.
Round Two, Pick 38
OLB Daryl Washington, TCU
Sergio Kindle would be a great pick here if available.  Smaller, but fast with quick reactions and explosive blitzes, Washington is like a big hitting safety. He is a draft climber.
Kindle will likely be gone by the second round.
