Cleveland Browns Sign QB Jake Delhomme

Former Panthers quarterback Jake Delhomme has agreed to a two-year contract with the Cleveland Browns.
Exact terms of the deal have not been disclosed as of yet.
The QB's agent, Rick Smith, confirmed Delhomme's signing with the Browns, who have been busy trying to find a starter since last season.
Delhomme, 35, was released a week ago after seven seasons with the Carolina Panthers.
Last season was his worse statistically, completing only 55 percent of his passes and Delhomme threw over twice as many interceptions as touchdowns (18 int, 8 TD).
He had been scheduled to visit his hometown New Orleans Saints, but canceled the trip.
He visited with Browns' staff on Thursday, but left town without signing any deal.
Delhomme is expected to compete for Cleveland's starting job with Brady Quinn.
Earlier this week, the Browns acquired backup Seneca Wallace in a trade with Seattle and released Derek Anderson.
