Cleveland Browns Sign Troy Smith, Unveil Plans to Run Tiger Cat (Humor)

Browns GM confirmed today that the Browns have signed Troy Smith to a three-year contract worth $8 million, including $2.5 million in guaranteed money. The Ravens, who did not meet the Browns offer sheet for Smith, will receive the Browns fourth round draft choice in this years draft.
Smith, a native of Cleveland, has been brought in by the new Browns brass in Berea, to add a new wrinkle to the offense. Browns President Mike Holmgren stated, "Troy Smith is a tremendous athlete who can make all the throws and also has the mobility to do some special things outside the pocket."
One source inside the Browns front-office recently leaked that the Browns are planning to invent and implement a new "Tiger Cat" formation. This formation would feature a backfield with Josh Cribbs, Seneca Wallace, and Troy Smith.
All three athletes have experience at quarterback and the ability to run with the football.
