Cleveland Browns To Sign 2 Free Agents Before Week 11 Showdown

According to Steve Wyche of NFL.com, the Cleveland Browns worked out a number of different players on Tuesday and plan to sign former Pro Bowler Clifton Smith.
The Browns have already come to terms on a deal with CB Erik King, formerly of the Detroit Lions, according to nbcsports.com
Smith last played in the NFL in 2009 as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was demoted to the Buccaneers practice squad during the preseason this year and was later cut from the 53-man roster. Smith also spent time on the Miami Dolphins practice squad before working out for the Browns.
Smith is mostly recognized as a return specialist after he had returned nearly 70 kicks for 2,000 yards in his two seasons with Tampa Bay. Smith is officially listed as a running back, but has had only 12 attempts up through what will be his third season when he comes to Cleveland.
